AAI Extraordinary General Meeting—January 15 at 14:00 UTC.

A huge thank-you to the more than 50 AAI Affiliate Members, Advisory Council members, volunteers, and Board Directors who attended the EGM on Sunday. And special thanks to Lawrence Krauss who facilitated the discussion so ably, and to the volunteers who expertly managed the voting process. 

The meeting resulted in three amendments to our bylaws, and other motions were passed that will help to ensure the AAI board works more closely with Affiliate Members. So many motions were tabled that some were deferred to the next Annual General Meeting.

The minutes are attached. Although a motion to mandate the content of General Meeting minutes was not passed, we have included everything relevant from that motion in the attached minutes.
