The 2023 Annual General Meeting of Atheist Alliance International will be held (virtually) on Sunday, November 12. Election of Board Directors will also be held.
At this 2023 Election: There will be open Βoard positions for At-Large Directors and Regional Directors for Africa, Asia, Australasia, Central & South America, and North America.
Supporters in Good Standing, such as you are, can also nominate candidates. Nominations must be seconded by a Board Director or a Member in Good Standing. Nominations for Board positions must be received by the AAI Secretary no later than October 15.
Please note, that nominees for the AAI Board must satisfy the following criteria: - Sufficient competence in reading and speaking English to be able to participate in Board discussions. - Be a Supporter in good standing. - Have access to reliable internet connectivity. - Be available to attend monthly Board meetings and any committees to which they are appointed. - Possess skills deemed valuable to the organization.
To ensure that nominees meet the criteria for Board membership, the Board shall carry out authentication checks before adding nominees to the ballot. Authenticated nominees will be invited to submit campaign materials which will be displayed on the AAI website.
All candidates and/or nominators are encouraged to read the AAI Bylaws for any clarification.
