campaign proposals for 2021

Dear Affiliate,
We are at that time of year when we need to put in place a program of work for 2021. Each year, we do our best to to allocate resources where it will have the most impact to help atheists, atheism and our affiliates.
We start our program planning by getting a long list of all the campaigns that board members and affiliates would like to see us work on during next year. A campaign can be anything you would like to do during 2021 to help atheists or atheism in your country, or to fight against a religious abuse of power.
We will collate all campaign proposals and evaluate them according to the benefits to atheists, to atheism and to your organization. We also take account of the risk (the likelihood that the campaign's objectives will be achieved) and the investment required.
AAI can help with your campaigns in various ways. For example, we can share experiences of other affiliates who have run similar campaigns in the past, we can provide an experienced board member to sit on your project board, we can give a wide range of advice, from media relations to security, we can publicize your campaign on our website, we can appeal for donations for you, and we can make a donation.
To give you just two examples:
Last year we supported and keep supporting our Turkish affiliate to offer a much needed service to atheist refugees in Turkey, the A.R.A.P program.
We also supported the opening of an "AAI Internet Cafe" that offers internet and other digital services in a rural area in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
To get involved, please discuss campaign opportunities with your team and complete the Attached AAI Outline Campaign Proposal form for each campaign (you can propose as many campaigns as you like).

I will need to receive your proposals by the 6th of December AT THE LATEST to have them evaluated by our planning committee.
