You may be aware that AAI has been subjected to a barrage of criticism, including much misinformation, in recent months. 

The events criticised go back at least five years. Nevertheless, the board conducted a thorough investigation to determine which criticisms were true and which were not. The investigation is now completed, and a Disclosure Document detailing everything relevant has been prepared. I have attached a copy for your information.

We have called an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at 14:00 UTC on January 15, 2023, and we will invite our affiliate members to decide what steps should be taken to make amends for things that were not done properly in the past.

Our intention is to clear the air and allow AAI to make a new start so we can continue promoting secularism, supporting atheist organisations, saving the lives of atheists and making a difference for people worldwide.
