Election of directors
|
Dear Affiliate,
Atheist Alliance International is managed by a Board of Directors that is responsive to members. The Board has full executive authority and responsibility for the operations and activities of the Alliance subject to compliance with the provisions of the AAI Bylaws.
The terms of four current AAI Board Directors have expired which means we need to hold elections for the four positions currently held by Gail Miller, Bill Flavell, Howard Burman, and John Richards.
Four seats on the Board are now up for election and, as an affiliate member, you may recommend up to one person for each available position. To recommend a candidate, please supply their full name, country of residence, telephone number and email address. Please ensure you have each candidate’s approval before submission.
AAI Board Directors are working directors with responsibilities that may require between half a day and one day per week to fulfill. Directors must be able to attend one videoconference Board Meeting per month (usually on a Sunday) at a time that will depend on their time zone (usually 16:00 GMT). Directors must be able to speak English to an adequate level and be able to access a PC with a high-speed Internet connection sufficient for video calls.
Each of the Directors with expiring terms have been nominated for re-election.
The Board reserves the right to carry out a selection process upon all recommended candidates.
Names of recommended candidates must be received by the AAI Secretary at secretary@atheistalliance.org no later than January 21, 2020.
